Surprisingly great! The place doesn't look like much from the outside but it's right on MD-4 so that's a plus. The servers were great, prices are fair and most importantly, the food is delicious and comes in good sized portions.
Best roadside Mexican restaurant I’ve found in these parts. Have been there several times when in town.
This was my first time here And my first time trying that dish. And I've always wanted to try it after seeing it on social media. And it was just the best! I had to get an extra taco too
Would give better review, but you always have to check your bill before paying. Good potential for extra drinks on the tab. So stay on top of what you order. Other than that, pretty solid local restaurant and bar.
We go hiking along the Chesapeake Bay a few times a year and this place is always our post-workout tradition! Great salsa, queso, and combination platters. Their prices have gone up a bit in recent years, but the meals are still a great value. We always dine-in, but get a takeout order to bring home because we can’t find food this good in Arlington!
I will definitely come again. The food here tastes so good and flavorful. I ordered the sizzling steak. It was well cooked and the service here was spectacular. This restaurant is very clean. The waitress was very kind. And it took our orders fast. Overall, I will definitely come here again.
Food, Service, and Atmosphere per normal was great. Our waiter was super attentive….i think he was the owner or the manager but he was amazing. Love their chips and salsa. Super fresh and flavorful. I had the carnitas dish for the first time and that was so yummy. This spot is our staple for authentic Mexican cuisine and we love coming here!
Comparatively speaking, much higher prices than other area Mexican food restaurants. Food is good. Salsa is awesome. Service is typically fast and friendly. Atmosphere: a bit cramped. Small dining room that makes everyone speaking very loud and intrusive. Not easy to hear who you are speaking to. Some of the locals seem rowdy and loud, which doesn't add to a great atmosphere.
